Honda Cars India has extended its offerings to the armed forces by making the Elevate SUV available at all military canteen stores across the country. Elevate joins the Amaze and City sedans in the lineup already sold through military canteen store departments.

The decision to offer the Elevate SUV through Canteen Store Departments (CSD) is a commendable step allowing armed personnel to access this premium vehicle through an extensive CSD network across India. In the current automotive landscape with a growing preference for SUVs the Elevate SUV provides a compelling package with the notable strengths of the City offering enhanced road presence and suitability for Indian road conditions.

Positioned as a no-frills and no-nonsense offering the Honda Elevate is competitively priced especially its top-spec variant. It enters the highly competitive compact SUV segment providing armed personnel with a well-priced option that includes the advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS). Under the hood the Honda Elevate is equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine similar to the one found in the City sedan. While there are no hybrid versions currently available Honda has confirmed plans for a fully electric version in the future.
