If you are into litre-class motorcycles, Honda has unveiled the MY24 CB1000 Hornet at the 2023 EICMA trade show in Milan. This motorcycle has updated styling and new color options. It replaces the semi-retro CB1000R, which is known for its Honda Neo sports styling and 998 cc inline-four engine that produces around 143 bhp, which is relatively low compared to other naked litre-class bikes in the market.

However, Honda has upped the ante with the new MY24 CB1000 Hornet. This street naked bike is equipped with a fresh engine derived from the 2017 Fireblade. Although specific details have not been revealed, it is worth noting that the 2017 Fireblade is claimed to have a maximum power output of 189 bhp, which promises ample power from the CB1000 Hornet.

The motorcycle features a new twin-spar frame, which is similar to the CB750 Hornet available in international markets. Additionally, it shares bicycle components with the CB1000R, including a 41mm Showa fully adjustable USD fork and a Showa monoshock. When it comes to features and rider assists, the CB1000 Hornet offers three pre-set riding modes, traction control, dual-channel ABS and a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.
