Campaign against Faulty License Plates

Banashankari traffic police took action against two-wheeler drivers on Monday and Tuesday and registered 24 cases for faulty number plates. After this, Jayanagar traffic police registered 36 cases on Wednesday.

Thalaghattapura traffic police and KS Layout traffic police contributed to the initiative by registering 35 and nine cases respectively in a single day. Concurrently, efforts were made to raise awareness of the importance of using proper number plates.

A notable incident occurred at 9:15 am on Wednesday when MICO Layout traffic police caught two 16-year-old boys riding a scooter in Jayanagar. The last two digits of the scooter's number plate were hidden.

Following this, the police seized the scooter and handed over the case to Tilaknagar Law and Order Police Station for further investigation. This proactive approach aims to ensure compliance with proper vehicle identification practices and enhance road safety.
