The Tata Punch and Nexon are the clear leaders followed by the Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue. The Mahindra Scorpio/N is the only mid-size SUV in the top 10 and it has seen a significant sales increase in recent months.

1. Tata Punch:

2. Tata Nexon:

This subcompact SUV is the second best-selling SUV in India with sales of 17 182 units in January 2024. This is a 10.37% increase over the 15 567 units sold in January 2023.

3. Maruti Brezza:

This subcompact SUV is the third best-selling SUV in India with sales of 15 303 units in January 2024. This is a 6.57% increase over the 14 359 units sold in January 2023.

4. Mahindra Scorpio/N:

This mid-size SUV is the fourth best-selling SUV in India with sales of 14 293 units in January 2024. This is a massive 64% increase over the 8 715 units sold in January 2023.

5. Maruti Fronx:

This new subcompact SUV from Maruti Suzuki is the fifth best-selling SUV in India with sales of 13 643 units in January 2024.

6. Maruti Grand Vitara:

This mid-size SUV is the sixth best-selling SUV in India with sales of 13 438 units in January 2024. This is a 55.14% increase over the 8 662 units sold in January 2023.

7. Hyundai Creta:

This mid-size SUV is the seventh best-selling SUV in India with sales of 13 212 units in January 2024. This is a 12.14% decrease over the 15 037 units sold in January 2023.

8. Hyundai Venue:

This subcompact SUV is the eighth best-selling SUV in India with sales of 11 831 units in January 2024. This is a 10.18% increase over the 10 738 units sold in January 2023.

9. Kia Sonet:

This subcompact SUV is the ninth best-selling SUV in India with sales of 11 530 units in January 2024. This is a 24.5% increase over the 9 261 units sold in January 2023.

10. Mahindra Bolero:

This compact SUV is the tenth best-selling SUV in India with sales of 9 964 units in January 2024. This is a 16.21% increase over the 8 574 units sold in January 2023.
