Ola introduces the latest Move OS4 software update!

Ola Electric has unveiled a new software update for its S1 electric scooter range named Move OS4. The over-the-air (OTA) accessible update introduces several new features to enhance the scooter's functionality.

One significant change with Move OS4 is the introduction of Ola Maps, replacing Map My India. Ola claims that this in-house developed feature will facilitate quicker rerouting and provide more accurate location information. Additionally, riders can now push locations from their phone to the scooter via Bluetooth.

The update also brings updated Hill Descent Control, cruise control in Eco mode, AI-based turn indicator operation, favorites-only calling selection, and access to the 'Moods' feature. Users can now operate the Concert Mode on Ola Electric S1 scooters as well. Geofencing and Timefencing have been added, allowing users to define specific operating areas and timeframes for the scooter. This helps in limiting ride modes for safe and appropriate usage by secondary users. Alongside these features, Move OS4 includes subtle changes to existing options for improved overall usability.

Ola's electric scooter lineup currently includes the S1X (2kWh), S1X (3kWh), S1X Plus, S1 Air, and the S1 Pro.
