Ola Achieves Record Monthly Sales of Over 53,000 Units in March

Ola Electric is one of the most prominent electric two-wheeler manufacturers in the Indian market, enjoying significant popularity among customers. Being an early entrant in the e-scooter segment, Ola Electric has consistently performed well in terms of sales figures. However, March 2024 has brought exceptionally good news for the company.

In the latest update, Ola Electric achieved a remarkable milestone by selling over 53,000 electric scooters last month, marking a new high for the fifth consecutive month. This surge in sales resulted in the company achieving its highest-ever monthly sales figures in March 2024.

According to the company's announcement, the total bookings for its entire range of e-scooters exceeded 53,000 units for March 2024. Additionally, Ola Electric reported a staggering year-on-year growth of 115% by selling a total of 3,28,785 units in the previous fiscal year. Comparatively, the cumulative sales for the FY2023 stood at 1,52,741 units.

It's noteworthy that the overall industry size for the electric two-wheeler market experienced a healthy 30% growth, which is a positive indicator for all manufacturers. Electric two-wheelers accounted for 9% of the total two-wheeler sales in March 2024. Ola Electric proudly maintained its leading position in the electric two-wheeler segment during this period.

Furthermore, the quarterly sales results revealed a 42% growth from January to March 2024 compared to the previous quarter. Ola Electric sold 1,19,310 units in the recent quarter, surpassing the previous quarter's numbers of 84,133 units. Currently, Ola Electric offers three electric scooters in its lineup: S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1X+. The top-spec Ola S1 Pro is priced at Rs. 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom), while the entry-level model costs Rs. 85,000 (ex-showroom).

Ola Electric's electric scooters operate on the company's latest MoveOS 4 platform. Continuous product enhancements, introduction of discounts and offers, and the increasing demand for electric two-wheelers are some of the major factors contributing to this growth.
