Mercedes-Benz India has unveiled its ambitious launch plan for 2024, which includes nine new car launches. Among these, there will be at least two new AMG models and a significant expansion of its electric vehicle (EV) portfolio.

The highlights of Mercedes-Benz's 2024 launch plan include the introduction of the AMG S 63 e-Performance and C 63 e-Performance models by June 2024. These high-performance AMGs, boasting hybrid technology derived from Formula 1, promise impressive power outputs and advanced features.

The AMG C 63 S e-Performance combines a 476hp turbo-petrol engine with a 204hp electric motor, delivering a total output of 680hp and 1,020Nm of torque. On the other hand, the S 63 e-Performance utilizes an updated twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine and a rear-axle-mounted electric motor, producing a staggering 802hp and 1,430Nm of torque.

Both models feature distinctive AMG design elements, aerodynamic enhancements, and advanced infotainment systems. Additionally, they come equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission and the 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive system.

In addition to the AMG lineup, Mercedes-Benz will introduce two more models in the luxury segment before June 2024. Furthermore, the brand plans to launch the all-new E-Class and three new EVs during the year, including the highly anticipated Maybach EQS.

Santosh Iyer, MD and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, confirmed that the new E-Class will debut before the end of the year, with the E-Class LWB variant scheduled for a later release. The upcoming EVs are expected to further strengthen Mercedes-Benz's position in the rapidly evolving automotive market.
