Almost a year after the launch of the Kia Seltos facelift, Kia India has introduced two new variants of the Seltos. Previously, the SUV offered an automatic variant starting from Rs. 19.59 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). However, with the new variants, the automatic option for the Seltos is now more affordable by Rs. 1.75 lakh. Let's delve into these variants and their pricing.

New Kia Seltos – New Variants & Pricing

Kia has introduced automatic transmission options for the second base HTK+ variants, available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The HTK+ Petrol CVT is priced at Rs. 17.83 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), while the HTK+ Diesel automatic costs Rs. 19.91 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). With the introduction of these two new variants, purchasing a Seltos automatic is now more economical.

Engine Specifications

Despite the new variants, the engine specifications remain unchanged. The Seltos retains the same 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 113bhp and 144Nm of peak torque. The diesel variant is powered by a 1.5-liter engine capable of generating 114bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. Additionally, the HTK+ variant is also offered with a more potent 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine.

In terms of features, the HTK+ variant offers the same amenities as before. These include an 8.0-inch touchscreen system, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, rear wiper washer, steering-mounted controls, LED DRLs, halogen projector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, and more.
