Hero Vida V1 competes with electric scooters like Ola S1 series, Ather 450X series, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak. When it was launched in October 2022, its price started at Rs. ₹ 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for both Plus and Pro variants. Prices were reduced. The Hero Vida V1 has an impressive equipment list, which includes a seven-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity, 4G capability and Wi-Fi, along with features like cruise control, two-way throttle system, keyless control and SOS alert. Hero claims that the Vida V1 has a real-world riding range of 110 km on a single charge and a top speed of 80 kmph. It can accelerate from zero to 40 kmph in just 3.2 seconds, and its DC fast charging capabilities allow it to charge from zero to 80 percent in less than 65 minutes. The scooter is available in five color options: white, orange, red, cyan and matte black.

The Hero Vida V1 features a sleek design with sharp LED turn signals, a small black flyscreen, an LED headlamp with LED daytime running lights, a split seat with black finish and two-tone alloy wheels both at the front and rear. It offers four ride modes: Eco, Ride, Sport and a Custom mode.

Apart from the Hero Vida V1, Hero MotoCorp is set to unveil three more electric scooters at the 2023 EICMA show in Milan, including a coupe version of the Vida V1. Additionally, an all-new 160cc petrol scooter is making its global debut to compete with models like the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Aprilia SXR 160.
