Unique feature coming to Mahindra XUV300.

As the launch of the new Mahindra XUV300 (3XO) draws nearer, the automaker is unveiling more details about the SUV. In the latest teaser, Mahindra has confirmed several segment-first features that will be offered in the XUV300, along with its updated design, making it a formidable contender in its segment. Here are all the details:

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift: Changes

The new teaser reveals that the XUV300 Facelift will be the first SUV in its segment to feature a panoramic sunroof. This large glass roof will not only bring in more natural light but also elevate the SUV's premium appeal. Currently, this feature is typically found in SUVs one segment higher.

In addition to the panoramic sunroof, the teaser showcases the redesigned dashboard, which now mirrors the layout of the recently updated Mahindra XUV400. Key highlights of the new cabin include a freestanding 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a fully digital instrument cluster, both reminiscent of those seen in the XUV700. The brand has also revamped the AC unit, which will retain the segment-first dual-zone AC feature. The cabin will continue to offer the off-white/ivory-black color scheme, with the addition of ventilated seats as an option.

Exterior Changes

Externally, the XUV300 Facelift will feature a significantly updated front fascia, with new LED headlamps reminiscent of the larger XUV700 model. The front grille has been refreshed with a gloss black element and intricate pattern. At the rear, the all-new C-shaped LED taillamps and connected brake light bar add a fresh touch. The boot lid has been subtly revised and now showcases the prominent XUV 3XO badge in the center.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift: Powertrain

Despite the significant updates, Mahindra will retain the 1.2-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine options for the XUV300. The petrol variants will be available in two power outputs: 108 bhp and 130 bhp, while the diesel engine will deliver 115 bhp. Transmission choices may include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, and a new AISIN-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic.

The car is expected to be launched on April 29, 2024, with pricing details likely to be announced on the same day. Stay tuned as we bring you all the latest updates on the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 Facelift until the launch.
