The Delhi Government's Transport Department intends to launch a portal to facilitate the conversion of old petrol and diesel vehicles to electric vehicles. This can be accomplished with a single click on a single platform.

Buyers will be able to select their preferred company to convert their old vehicles into electric vehicles. The cost of conversion could range between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.

The goal is to provide vehicle owners with a one-stop solution for registering new e-vehicles with the RTO via the portal. The portal will go live in the second half of this month.
