Ampere a leading electric two-wheeler mobility provider in India is set to launch a new electric scooter known as The Nex Big Thing. Prior to its official release the scooter has achieved two accolades in the India Book of Record. As part of a unique promotional journey the scooter embarked on a 45-day expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari covering diverse terrains and major cities.

The achievements secured by Ampere's upcoming scooter are:

1. Biggest Electric Scooter Brand Logo Drawn on White Sands:
  - Location: Dholavira Khadir bet island in Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary Great Rann of Kutch.
  - The rider on the Ampere "The Nex Big Thing" scooter outlined the Ampere brand logo on white sands covering an impressive area of 17 100 sq ft (179.8 ft X 95.2 ft). The perimeter of the logo outline was 394 ft.
  - The precision creativity perseverance and innovation demonstrated in creating this logo set a record officially confirmed by the India Book of Record on February 2nd 2024.

2. First Electric Scooter to Tow a Pickup Truck:
  - Location: Rann Of Kutch.
  - Ampere's The Nex Best Thing showcased its strength and capability by towing a loaded pickup truck weighing 1 860 kg with an additional load of 140 kg (equivalent to 2 on-board passengers).
  - The electric scooter covered a distance of 2 km while towing the pickup truck in a 15-minute run.
  - This remarkable feat was officially confirmed by the India Book of Record on February 3rd 2024.

The upcoming Ampere scooter has garnered attention not only for its record-setting journey but also for its unique features and capabilities. Bookings for the special K2K (Kashmir to Kanyakumari) Edition of The Nex Big Thing have commenced with a nominal fee of Rs. 499. The scooter is expected to be launched by the end of 2024.
