TVS Raider 125 Emerges as the Top-Selling Bike for the Brand

As of January 2024 the Raider has played a pivotal role in TVS' overall growth in the two-wheeler market with a total of 7 14 484 units sold. The sporty 125cc motorcycle has been well-received among Gen-Z motorcycle buyers witnessing a surge in consumer acceptance.

In the first 10 months of the ongoing fiscal year (FY24) the Raider achieved remarkable sales reaching 3 98 354 units and surpassing the 2 39 388 units sold in FY23. Notably it has emerged as TVS' bestselling motorcycle in the current fiscal surpassing the cumulative sales of the Apache series which reached 3 09 242 units in the same period. Furthermore the Raider stands as the third-bestselling TVS product on two wheels following the Jupiter scooter range (6 99 613 units) and the XL moped (3 99 877 units).

The Raider 125 holds a substantial share accounting for 39 percent of TVS' motorcycle sales which totaled 10 21 739 units in the first 10 months of FY2024. Following the Raider are the Apache (3 09 242 units - 30 percent share) Sport (1 48 457 - 14.5 percent share) Radeon (1 09 696 units - 11 percent share) Star City (37 329 units) Ronin (13 885 units) and the Apache RR 310 (4 776 units).

With bike sales already surpassing previous records at 10 21 739 units in the first 10 months of FY24 the demand for the Raider 125 along with other TVS bikes is expected to propel the company's sales to new heights.
