Tata partners with Shell for EV charging stations

Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM) and Shell India Markets (SIMPL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on establishing new public charging stations across India.

The partnership aims to utilize Shell's existing network of fuel stations and insights from Tata Passenger on EV charging patterns to strategically deploy chargers where they are most needed. Additionally, the agreement includes exploring user-friendly payment systems and loyalty programs for Tata Passenger's customers.

By addressing the challenge of limited charging infrastructure, both companies aim to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in India, contributing to the country's transition to sustainable mobility.
