According to a media report, Tata Motors is set to launch the Nexon Dark Edition early next month, offering a distinctive aesthetic appeal to the popular SUV. The Dark Edition will be available as an option on the mid and top-spec trims, including the Creative, Creative+, Creative+ S, Fearless, Fearless S, and Fearless+ S variants.

The design of the Nexon Dark Edition draws inspiration from the showcased version of the Nexon EV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The exterior will feature an all-black color scheme, complemented by blacked-out roof rails, alloy wheels, and a dark Tata logo. Inside, the SUV will boast an all-black interior with black upholstery and a piano black centre console.

The Nexon Dark Edition will maintain the same powertrain options as the standard model. The engine lineup includes a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol variant will be available with a choice of a 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. On the other hand, the diesel variant will come with a 6-speed manual and AMT option.

With this upcoming Dark Edition, Tata Motors aims to offer customers a stylish and visually distinct version of the Nexon, adding to the appeal of an already popular SUV in the Indian market.
