Hyundai will introduce the Ioniq 5 EV in India, with two battery options.

The Ioniq 5 EV, Hyundai Motor's second electric car, will be unveiled in India tomorrow. The EV is currently on the market in several countries and will soon arrive in India. The carmaker previously announced that nationwide reservations for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV will start on December 20. Here is a summary of all the information you need to know about the vehicle.

Two battery packs based on the e-GMP, or Electric Global Modular Platform, architecture are included with the Ioniq 5. This has two battery packs: one is 58 kWh and the other is 72.6 kWh. The later is meant to provide a driving range of up to 480 kilometers, while the former is expected to offer a driving range of 385 kilometers.

A 350 kW DC fast charger may be used to charge the EV. The juice has 0 percent sugar, as indicated by the term "zero percent."

The 12.3-inch HD touchscreen, wireless phone charging, head-up display, leather seats, and the sunroof will all be included on the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV. Moreover, a 12.3-inch driver display will be included. It will have a cabin with an elegant look and lots of contemporary conveniences.

LED taillights, daytime running lamps, and headlights are all included on the Ioniq 5's exterior. Alloy 20-inch wheels will be used for the EV. In addition to additional safety technologies like Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Driver Attention Warning, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV will include SmartSense Level 2 ADAS capabilities.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV's price has not yet been made public by the company. It's probable that tomorrow may bring price news. Rumors suggest that the EV's starting price will be 50 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Ioniq 5 will compete with the Kia EV 6 and the Volvo XC40 Recharge in the electric vehicle market. It should be mentioned that this EV will be the second all-electric car produced by the Korean manufacturer after the Kona.
