Everything You Need to Know About Parivahan Sewa.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has worked to computerize Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) around the country in order to improve the quality of service provided to citizens and the quality of work provided by RTOs.

Because policies and procedures differ from state to state, one of Parivahan Sewa's goals is to standardize papers to ensure accurate and timely information availability. To do this, the MoRTH entrusted the National Informatics Centre (NIC) with the deployment of two types of software. They are as follows:

  • VAHAN:

    For vehicle registration.

  • SARATHI:

For driving licenses and the collection of data on Driving Licenses(DLs) in all states, as well as car registration.
