Tata Power and Rustomjee have agreed to collaborate on the development of EV charging infrastructure.

Tata Power has partnered with real estate developer Rustomjee Group to provide electric car charging options throughout all of its residential and commercial developments in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Tata Power will provide specialized charging infrastructure for residents of Rustomjee projects in the Mumbai area as part of this agreement. Electric car owners will have access to a charging station that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as well as maintenance assistance.

Tata Power will install 28 EZ charging stations in Rustomjee Group's residential and commercial developments.

Through its Tata Power EZ Charge product, the business has already established over 100 EV charging sites in Mumbai and over 1,300 charging points across the nation.

Tata Power has been swiftly establishing EV charging infrastructure across the country, assisting India in its transition to environmentally friendly mobility. The firm has already formed alliances with Apollo Tyres, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Thirukkurungudi Vengaram Sundram (TVS) Motors, am Stays & Trails, and others to establish and improve EV charging infrastructure. Over 20 million square feet of space, 280 buildings, and 14,000 residences have been delivered by the Rustomjee Group.
