Pune RTO and NHAI jointly celebrate Driver's Day.

On the occasion of Drivers Day on 17th September, the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Pune in collaboration with the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) organized a series of activities to recognize and felicitate various categories of drivers. ,

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), Pune Mahanagar Transport Mahamandal Limited (PMPML), fire department, auto-rickshaw drivers, truck drivers and other drivers were honored for their contribution.

Here are some highlights of the activities:

MSRTC bus drivers, truck drivers, car drivers, private vehicle drivers and two-wheeler drivers were welcomed, honored and felicitated at Khed Shivpur Toll Plaza. They received flowers, water bottles, straws and road safety information leaflets.

Drivers of Kothrud PMPML depot were felicitated with bouquets, sweets and road safety leaflets.

At Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar Fire Station in Kothrud, motorists were welcomed, felicitated and presented with bouquets, sweets and road safety leaflets.

Auto-rickshaw drivers were honored with bouquets, sweets and road safety leaflets at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Chowk in Kothrud.

The drivers were identified with straw and roses at the garbage depot in Kothrud.

Drivers of Nithin Motor Driving School in Kothrud were honored with straw and rose flowers.

These initiatives aim to appreciate the hard work and dedication of drivers in various sectors and promote road safety awareness among them.
