Maruti Jimny Now Offering Discounts Up to Rs. 2 Lakh

In June, Maruti Suzuki India Limited launched the much-awaited Jimny in India, which was initially met with strong demand. However, recent reports indicate a decline in sales of this dedicated off-roader. In an effort to boost sales, the company is now offering a good discount of around Rs 2 lakh on the base Zeta variant.

The base variant lacks some elements found in the top-spec model, such as fog lamps and matte black bumpers without headlight washers. It has 15-inch black steel rims instead of 10-spoke gunmetal gray alloy wheels and lacks a disc brake at the rear.

The interior of the Jimny Zeta variant retains the same dashboard layout, but differs in the size of the touchscreen infotainment screen, with a smaller 7-inch display instead of a larger 9-inch screen. It also lacks automatic climate control, opting for a manual air conditioning system.

The presenter revealed that the automatic variant of the Jimny Zeta is currently being offered at an on-road price of Rs 14 lakh, which includes a company discount of Rs 1.5 lakh and an additional dealership discount of around Rs 40,000-50,000, which is Total Discount of Rs. 2 Lakh. Some dealerships are also reportedly offering discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh on the top-spec Alpha variant of the Jimny.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny prices range from Rs 12.74 lakh to Rs 15.05 lakh (ex-showroom). The base Zeta variant with manual transmission starts at Rs 12.74 lakh (ex-showroom), while the automatic variant is priced at Rs 13.94 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-spec Jimny Alpha variant with manual transmission is priced at Rs 13.69 lakh, and the automatic variant is priced at Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of Alpha dual-tone variant is Rs 15.05 lakh (ex-showroom). The company aims to increase the attractiveness of Jimny through this attractive discount offer.
