The Mahindra XUV300 is to undergo a midlife update, which will include cosmetic changes, new features and the introduction of a new automatic transmission.
According to a media report, Mahindra is replacing the existing 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox sourced from Aisin. It is not yet clear whether this new transmission will be available for both petrol and diesel variants or will be available for any particular engine.
Updates will be offered
In terms of cosmetic updates, the XUV300 facelift is expected to adopt design elements from the BE.05 electric SUV. Inside the cabin, the SUV is likely to feature a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster and a panoramic sunroof.
