Hero MotoCorp introduces the new Splendor with a starting price of INR 72,900.

The Splendor+ XTEC, a new edition of the renowned motorbike Splendor, was unveiled today by the maker of motorcycles and scooters. It will be available at Hero MotoCorp shops for Rs 72,900 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and will be backed by a 5-year guarantee.

According to Hero MotoCorp, the motorbike is now available in four new color schemes: Sparkling Beta Blue, Canvas Black, Tornado Grey, and Pearl White.

Splendor+ XTEC has a 97.2cc Bharat Stage 6 (BS-VI) compliant engine that produces 7.9 BHP @ 7000 RPM and 8.05 NM @ 6000 for a high-performance ride. The new Splendor+ XTEC upholds the brand promise of performance and comfort by using patented i3S technology for improved fuel economy.

According to a press statement, the new Hero Splendor+'XTEC' comes with features such as a Full Digital Meter with Bluetooth connectivity, Call & Short Message Service (SMS) alert, Real Time Mileage Indicator (RTMI), low fuel indicator, Light-emitting diode (LED) High-Intensity Position Lamp (HIPL), and special graphics. It also has an integrated Universal Serial Bus (USB) charger, side-stand engine cut-off, and Hero's unique i3S Technology (Idle Stop-Start System), according to the company.

Hero Splendor is India's most popular and best-selling motorbike, a genuine friend to millions throughout the country. It has been an icon for over three decades and will continue to inspire people with the introduction of the Splendor+ XTEC model, which has technologically sophisticated features and a clever modern design.
