In Delhi, the driving license exam has been halted due to the corona virus.

As a precaution, the government has imposed limits on all activities because to the fast growing instances of corona throughout the country. As a result, the Delhi government is working to make the restrictions more stringent. Corona has now been put on hold by the administration. The Transport Department has taken this action in order to prevent the spread of covid-19, as directed by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA). All operations linked to online driving tests, as well as current appointments for driver's licence and learning driver's licence, have been halted until further notice. At the same time, nodal officers have been deployed to prevent overcrowding in buses.

Dr. Navalendra Kumar Singh, Joint Commissioner of the Department of Transport, has also issued an order. According to the directive, all existing appointments will be rescheduled, and the candidates will be notified through SMS.

In light of the rising number of covid-19 cases in the city, the DDMA issued an order directing government personnel working in non-essential activities to work from home. It has also ordered the deployment of nodal officials to monitor bus and metro train congestion. These orders are being issued in accordance with this.

The learning license's validity period will be extended.

The present learning license's validity duration will be extended, according to the new regulation from the Transportation Department. It indicates that all services shall be provided in all zonal offices while adhering to the code of conduct. The fitness test of commercial cars will continue in this manner, with Covid's proper conduct being followed.
