Hyundai Motor India unveiled the 'Knight Variant,' a new Creta Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) edition, on Tuesday. It costs between INR 13.51 lakh to INR 18.18 lakh (ex-showroom). The new version will be available in S+ (MT only) and SX (O) trims infinitely variable transmission (IVT)/Automatic Transmission (AT) only, with 1.5 liter MPi petrol and 1.5 liter U2 CRDi diesel engine choices.
The SUV now comes standard with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (Highline) and a Glossy Black Centre Console on SX (O) trims, as well as the addition of a new Denim Blue color.
The new Creta Knight Edition has a black gloss color application to several external and interior design components, as well as a Knight Edition Logo on the tailgate.
Panoramic Sunroof, Trio beam LED Headlamps, and Crescent Light-emitting Diode (LED) Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) are among the standard features. The firm recently announced the availability of iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) in the Creta Petrol S trim for INR 12.83 lakh. It also debuted a new S+ grade for the 1.4 turbo Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine.

The Delhi High Court has clarified that electric vehicles (EVs) in India are subject to relevant provisions under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
