New Delhi: The facelifted M340i xDrive from luxury automaker BMW has been released in India, with an ex-showroom price of INR 69,20,000.
The company's Chennai facility produces the sedan domestically, and its dealership network and website are both places to reserve one. The first deliveries will start in January 2023.
The M340i is the first high-performance vehicle with an M engine to be produced in India, claims the automaker. It is propelled by a 2,998 cc straight-six petrol engine with a maximum torque of 500 Nm and an output of 374 horsepower. The automobile needs just 4.4 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h.
The style is offered in Mineral White, Dravit Grey, Black Sapphire, and Tanzanite Blue, among other hues. It has upholstery made of a blend of Sensatec and Alcantara in Black with Blue contrast stitching.
It has a 480-liter baggage compartment, a glass sunroof, and a 16-loudspeaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound system.
Six airbags, attentiveness assistance, an anti-lock brake system with brake assist, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), an electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, an electronic vehicle immobilizer, and crash sensors, run-flat tires with a tire pressure indicator, International Standard Organisation Fix (ISOFIX) child seat mounting, and an integrated emergency spare wheel are among the safety features.
The two businesses claimed to be working together to provide commercial, off-the-shelf cloud solutions for handling car data securely and making the most of the data potential of next vehicle generations.
