The Hero Optima CX electric scooter will be available in 2022.

Hero Electric is preparing to launch a new scooter very soon. According to information obtained from the official transportation department website, it intends to upgrade the Optima CX series in 2022.

The impending 2022 Hero Optima HX will most likely be available in two variants: CX and CX ER (Extended Range). These trims are planned to replace the current Optima HX e-scooter line. In terms of battery pack configuration, the two trims may differ. While the CX is predicted to have a single battery unit, the latter is slated to have a twin battery pack.

Expect the business to make some cosmetic improvements to the new scooter, as well as some significant technical advancements. The new Optima CX electric scooter is projected to outperform its predecessor. In addition, the corporation is anticipated to improve the overall efficiency of its electric motor.

Cruise control, walk assist, reverse mode, a digital instrument cluster, Universal Serial Bus (USB) charging port, Light Emitting Diode (LED) headlights, and an anti-theft alarm with a remote key are all potential characteristics of the scooter.

It will continue to ride on 12-inch wheels with 90/90 section Continental tubeless tires, as shown previously. In terms of pricing, the new scooter is expected to be more expensive than the current offering. The Hero Optima HX is currently priced at 55,850 for the single battery type and 65,640 for the dual-battery option (both prices ex-showroom).
