Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) unveiled the basic edition of its recently released scooter, the Suzuki Avenis, priced at Rs 86,500 on Friday (ex-showroom Delhi).
The basic version of the Avenis comes with an exterior hinge style gasoline cap for convenience, a huge under-seat area, and a body mounted Light-emitting diode (LED) headlight.
Previously, SMIPL introduced the 'Ride Connect' and 'Race' variants of Avenis. According to the firm, the scooter is powered by a 125cc engine that produces 8.7ps at 6,750 rpm.
Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director of SMIPL, stated that Avenis has had a strong reaction in India.
"In fact, the Avenis is now one of the best-selling models from Suzuki Motorcycle India. The release of the basic version of Avenis is part of the company's endeavour to provide Gen Z customers more alternatives" ,He said.
Royal Enfield has raised the prices of some of its popular bikes, including the Bullet 350 and Classic 350. The 350 Classic. This month's pricing increases also include the RE Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650.
