A teaser video for the Monster SP, Ducati India's forthcoming motorcycle for the Indian market, has been released. The launch date is May 2, 2023.
A unique dual-tone color scheme, an (Light Emitting Diode) LED headlamp, a small front flyscreen, and a passenger seat cowl are all included with the Monster SP. The bike sports a 4.3-inch color (Thin Film Transistor) TFT display with an integrated lap timer.
A 973cc, V-twin engine that cranks out 110 BHP at 9,250 rpm and 93 Nm at 6,500 rpm powers the Monster SP. An automatic 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter is coupled to the engine.
For suspension, the Monster SP has a 43 mm Ohlins upside-down fork up front and an Ohlins monoshock in back. There are two 320 mm front discs with Brembo Stylema brake callipers and a 245 mm rear disc. A Termignoni twin-can exhaust is also added.
A number of electrical assistance are available for the Monster SP, including three riding modes, traction control, wheelie control, and cornering (Anti-lock braking systems) ABS.
