New Delhi: HOP Electric Mobility, a manufacturer of electric scooters based in Jaipur, debuted an electric motorbike, the HOP OXO, on Monday. Its starting price is INR 1.25 lakhs. The new model is available for purchase by customers at business dealerships or online.

The model has a motor with a 6200 Watt peak power and 200 Nm of wheel torque that operates on a 72 V architecture. With an added turbo mode for OXO X.

The HOP OXO-X speeds from 0 to 40 km/h in 4 seconds and has a peak speed of 90 km/h in Turbo mode.

According to the carmaker, OXO has a 3.75 KWh battery pack that powers an innovative lithium-ion battery with a smart BMS and 811 NMC cells, providing a genuine range of 150 Km per charge.

OXO's portable smart charger can charge the device at any 16 Amp outlet. It claimed that charging from 0% to 80% took less than 4 hours.

Regenerative braking, Fourth Generation (4G) connectivity, and a partner smartphone application that enables features like speed control, geo fence, an anti-theft system, and ride stats are additional features that OXO receives.

At the moment, the firm offers two e-scooters, the HOP LEO and HOP LYF, each with three variations.
