India-Bound Benelli Leoncino 500 Revealed for 2023 - Lion Cub Gets a Facelifta

Benelli, an Italian motorcycle manufacturer, has unveiled the Leoncino 500 for 2023. India might soon see the arrival of the 2023 Benelli Leoncino.

Changes to the 2023 Benelli Leoncino 500

A new color choice and a redesigned saddle that is supposed to be more comfortable for the rider and passenger are included in the 2023 Benelli Leoncino 500's visual upgrades.

The 2023 Leoncino 500's front end is mostly unaltered; the new motorcycle still has the circular LED headlight with a projector bulb in the middle. The decorative Lion of Pesaro is still present on the front fender of the 2023 Leoncino, which is Italian for "lion cub." For the 2023 Leoncino 500, a new color option is available for the upside-down front forks.

The sides of the new 2023 Leoncino 500 have undergone additional cosmetic changes, and the fuel tank now features a new arched plaque with the Benelli logo, which is now finished in black. New visuals and a Dark Matt Grey paint job are also noticeable.

According to Benelli, the saddle (or seat to us normal) of the new 2023 Leoncino 500 has been updated and now closely resembles the shape of the motorcycle. Benelli asserts that the seat on the new Leoncino 500 now provides improved comfort for the rider and passenger.

When compared to the motorcycle it replaces, the 2023 Benelli Leoncino 500 is identical underneath. The fuel-injected 500cc parallel-twin engine that generates 46.8 bhp and 46 Nm of maximum torque is still present in the new 2023 Leoncino 500. An automatic gearbox with six speeds is mated to the engine.

The new Leoncini 500 keeps the 50mm upside-down front forks and rear monoshock from its predecessor, as well as the steel tube trellis frame (with rebound and preload adjustment).

At the front, there are two 320mm discs with floating two-piston calipers, and at the back, there is a 260mm disc with a single piston caliper. ABS assists the brakes. The 17-inch alloy wheels that the 2023 Leoncino 500 is mounted on are covered in Pirelli Angel GT tires.

Considerations Regarding The 2023 Benelli Leoncino 500

The 2023 Benelli Leoncino 500 features a few mostly aesthetic updates that should set it apart from its predecessor while also providing riders with a little more comfortable ride. When it eventually makes it to our shores, the new 2023 Benelli Leoncino 500 is likely to cost a little bit more than the present bike's close to Rs 5.5 lakh price tag.
