The cruise control feature has been added to Hero Electric's Optima HX electric city speed scooter, providing users with a smoother riding experience. Once engaged, the cruise control function on the all-new Optima model will be reflected in the improved speedometer.

By pushing the activation button, riders will be able to maintain a consistent preferred pace, reducing annoyance while riding the scooter.

Once enabled, the cruise icon will appear on the Optima HX scooter's speedometer, which may be disabled by braking or twisting the throttle. The scooter has turn indicators positioned on the apron, a USB port, a digital instrument cluster, 12-inch alloy wheels, a remote lock, an LED headlamp, and an anti-theft alarm. It also has a step-up seat and a single-piece pillion grab rail, giving it a more contemporary appearance.

Hero Electric is also extending its existing R&D facilities in order to produce the next generation of its Low-speed, City Speed, and High-speed cars. In addition, the EV manufacturer will open a new tech center with cutting-edge technology, grow its R&D staff, and hire additional workers for powertrain research and vehicle design. For its future line of connected electric cars, the business is concentrating on Internet of Things (IoT), energy efficiency, connection, and user interface.
