Hero MotoCorp introduced the Destini 125 XTEC on Thursday, with a starting price of Rs 79,990. (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new scooter has a slew of new design and theme components, including new Light Emitting Diode (LED) headlights, an improved vintage look, and fresh chrome accents. In addition, the scooter now comes in a new Nexus Blue color option.
The Hero Destini 125 will be offered in two trims at all authorized Hero MotoCorp dealerships in India, with the base costing Rs 69,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the higher-spec Destini 125 XTEC costing Rs 79,990. (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Destini 125 XTEC has i3S Technology (Idle Stop-Start System) and a new digital analogue speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity for call and Short Message Service (SMS) notifications. In addition, the scooter has a USB charger, a side-stand engine switch off, and seat backrest support for added comfort.
The Destini 125 XTEC is powered by a 125cc BS 6-compliant engine producing 9bhp at 7,000 Revolutions per minute (RPM) and 10.4 Nanometer (nm) of torque at 5,500 RPM.
According to Malo Le Masson, Hero MotoCorp's Head of Strategy and Global Product Planning, the XTEC technology package has begun to build a reputation for itself as the signature for newest technology and category first feature. We had excellent success with XTEC variants on the Glamour 125, the Pleasure+ 110, and now on the Destini 125, which will increase its appeal even further.
