Volvo has introduced the C40 Recharge at an initial price of Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

As Volvo's second all-electric model for the Indian market, the C40 Recharge is positioned above the XC40 Recharge, which is priced at Rs 56.90 lakh.

This electric SUV boasts a coupe-like design, with a front fascia reminiscent of the electric XC40. The rear features a more raked windshield and striking LED taillights that follow the rear fascia's contours.

Inside, the C40 Recharge is equipped with a portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system, a 3-spoke steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, an air purifier, a Harman Kardon sound system, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The C40 Recharge shares its dual-motor electric powertrain with the XC40 Recharge, delivering 402 BHP and 660 Nm of torque. It utilizes a 78 kWh battery pack, providing a maximum range of 530 km (WLTP cycle). Volvo attributes the improved range to a new battery management system and the vehicle's aerodynamic design.
