Simple Energy has unveiled the Dot One e-scooter at a starting price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom, Bangalore). Available in a single variant and four colors – Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White and Azure Blue – the scooter features a touchscreen instrument console and offers 35 liters of underseat storage.

Powered by a fixed 3.7 kWh battery pack, the Dot One has an 8.5 kWh electric motor with a peak torque of 72 Nm. Simple Energy claims it to be the quickest in its segment, accelerating from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.77 seconds. With a certified range of 151 km and IDC range of 160 km, the scooter is designed for efficiency.

The Dot One is equipped with a telescopic front fork, a monoshock at the rear, alloy wheels and disc brakes at both ends. Introductory pricing is exclusive for pre-booked customers in Bangalore and is valid for a limited period or till stocks last. Deliveries will initially begin in Bengaluru, followed by a phased launch in other cities.
