Responding to the sunroof trend, Kia has added a sunroof to the Sonet HTK+ variant with the 1.2-litre Smartstream petrol engine. Priced at Rs 9.76 lakh , this Kia Sonet HTK+ 1.2 Smartstream model becomes the most affordable SUV in Kia's Indian lineup to offer a factory-fitted sunroof.

Along with a sunroof, the Sonet HTK+ 1.2 comes with Smartstream 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6-speaker audio, automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls and more. It is powered by a 1.2L petrol engine which is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Kia also offers a sunroof option in the HTX and HTX+ variants along with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, available with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT.

The move to add a sunroof to the affordable Sonet HTK+ variant is aimed at cashing in on its popularity and is in line with the compact SUV sunroof trend. The Sonet is expected to be facelifted later, while retaining the existing powertrain options.
