The Bharat Mobility Auto Show has kicked off with great enthusiasm
featuring exciting product reveals from various manufacturers
including Skoda. The Czech automaker has introduced the Enyaq iV
an electric SUV that is anticipated to be Skoda's inaugural electric vehicle in India. The pricing for this model is expected to be announced in the next three to four months
with reports suggesting a potential revelation by March 2024.
Although Skoda has been conducting tests on the Enyaq iV in India for some time this marks the official unveiling of the electric SUV in the country. If the pricing is confirmed in March 2024 the Enyaq iV will stand as the first all-new Skoda car in India since the launch of the Slavia in 2022.
Interior and Features:
Inside the Enyaq iV
two color themes are available – a tan & black option and an all-black interior. The standout feature is the 13-inch dashboard
the largest in any Skoda car. The dashboard exhibits a modern design
utilizing soft-touch materials that contribute to its premium appeal. The Enyaq iV is equipped with a range of features
including an electric tailgate
wireless charging
ambient lighting
USB type-C charging socket
230 V socket
folding tables
rain-sensing wipers
LED headlamps
rear AC vents
panoramic sunroof
heads-up display
360-degree camera
and more.
Battery Specifications:
Globally
Skoda provides various battery options for the Enyaq iV. In India
the expectation is that the top-spec 80x variant will be introduced
spotted in testing multiple times. The 80X variant features a 77kWh battery pack
offering a claimed range of 513km. The powertrain configuration includes an all-wheel-drive layout
thanks to dual motors
generating 265bhp and 420Nm of torque. This setup positions the Enyaq iV as a promising addition to the electric vehicle landscape in India.
