Royal Enfield Plans to Launch 6 New Bikes This Fiscal Year

Royal Enfield is gearing up to introduce more than six new motorcycles in the current fiscal year, encompassing both entirely new models and updates to existing ones. Among these is the anticipated 450 cc lineup, which will welcome the arrival of the Guerrilla 450 neo-retro roadster in the latter part of the year. This addition follows the recent introduction of the Himalayan 450 in the Indian market.

Expanding its 650 cc portfolio, Royal Enfield will introduce the Goan Classic 350, a single-seater bobber based on the Classic 350. Earlier this year, the flagship 650 cc range saw the launch of the Shotgun 650, joining models like the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, and SG650. Additionally, the Scrambler 650 and Classic 650 are slated for debut soon.

The upcoming Royal Enfield Scrambler 650, potentially named the Interceptor Bear 650, is expected to feature a circular LED headlamp with a silver casing, halogen turn indicators, and spoked wheels. Its design emphasizes touring capabilities with an upright handlebar and middle-set footpegs for relaxed riding. The dual exhaust pipes, though not as steeply positioned as those on the Interceptor and Continental GT, contribute to its distinctive appearance.

Powered by the renowned 648 cc parallel twin-cylinder engine, the Royal Enfield Classic 650 is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 47 PS and peak torque of 52 Nm. Paired with a six-speed transmission featuring a standard slipper/assist clutch, the Classic 650 promises a refined and enjoyable riding experience. Telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear ensure smooth handling and comfort on various road surfaces.
