Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 unveiled before release.

Royal Enfield has given a glimpse of the upcoming Himalayan 452 on its official social media channels in anticipation of its launch in the Indian market. In this preview, the motorcycle manufacturer has unveiled a real-life image of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452, set against the majestic backdrop of the Himalayan mountain range.

The teaser image shows the white paint scheme of the bike, which is reminiscent of the original Himalayan 411 that made its debut in 2016. In this latest version, the Himalayan branding is prominently displayed on the front mudguard, while the fuel tank, side panels and rear fender are adorned with Himalaya-themed graphics.

Design highlights of the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 include a distinctive beak-shaped fender, a high-mounted LED headlamp, a massive fuel tank and a compact tail section with split seating. The motorcycle is expected to ride on a combination of 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, fitted with wire-spoke rims.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be powered by a powerful 451.65cc, liquid-cooled engine that will be capable of delivering 39.57bhp at 8,000rpm and generating peak torque output in the range of 40-45Nm. This engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox to provide smooth power delivery. It is estimated that the price of the new Himalayan 452 will be around Rs 2.5 lakh. 2.70 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete against rivals like the KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS and the Yezdi Adventure. Enthusiasts can expect its official launch in India to take place in late October or November 2023.
