The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is gearing up for its launch in the coming weeks and has been spotted testing once again, this time in Ladakh. What sets this spotting apart is that we can now clearly hear the motorcycle's exhaust note.

Amid numerous sightings of test mules and leaked specifications, there are still some aspects of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 that remain unknown. The official launch is expected in the first week of November, and test rides will follow shortly after. For now, enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the Himalayan 452 can listen to its exhaust note in the video below.

The Himalayan 452 is powered by a 451.65 cc liquid-cooled engine producing 39.45 bhp at 8,000 rpm. This represents a significant increase in power compared to the current Himalayan, which generates 24 bhp at 6,500 rpm. While torque figures have not been disclosed, they are expected to fall in the range of 40-45 Nm. Leaked documents also indicate a gross weight of 394 kg.

The new Himalayan is likely to feature a fully digital TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. It is expected to come with a six-speed transmission, possibly equipped with a slip and assist clutch, an upgrade from the current Himalayan's five-speed unit.

The motorcycle will be built on an entirely new chassis, with the engine serving as a stressed member. The rear subframe will be a bolt-on unit. The Himalayan 452 will feature full LED lighting and premium components, including an upside-down fork setup at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Like most adventure motorcycles, it is likely to have a 21-inch wheel in the front and a 19-inch wheel in the rear. Royal Enfield is expected to offer options between spoked and alloy wheels to cater to different preferences.
