On India's 75th Independence Day, Ola Electric will reveal its first electric vehicle.

The founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ola Electric, Bhavish Aggarwal, has announced that a new product would be introduced on August 15 as part of the company's "huge future ambitions."

On August 15, which also happens to be India's 75th Independence Day, Ola Electric will officially introduce a new product. On this day a year ago, Ola Electric unveiled its first item in India, the S1 Pro electric scooter. After a year, Ola Electric is probably going to step up its EV game with an electric car. The impending electric four-wheeler, which is anticipated to come next year, has been teased by Ola. Late on Thursday, Ola Electric's founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, made this significant disclosure.

Aggarwal shared the information on Twitter with the message, Super pleased to unveil a new product on 15th August. Will also discuss our HUGE future goals in greater detail. Additionally, Ola Electric and the Center have inked the PLI plan, allowing the EV manufacturer to work on lithium-ion cells and produce batteries for electric vehicles in India. Ola just unveiled its first lithium-ion battery. The business is also anticipated to reveal its new, larger facility, which will be utilised to create battery cell technology and its new electric vehicle.

Earlier in June, during the Ola Customer Day at the Ola Futurefactory, Ola Electric gave a sneak preview of its future electric four-wheeler. More information regarding the device will be made public on August 15, according to Aggarwal. In the electric car market, he also promised to create the greatest possible product for the consumers.

The Ola Electric four-appearance wheelers and feel were hinted at in a teaser film that the EV maker previously released. It displayed the vehicle's red colour, modern Light-Emitting Diode (LED) Daytime Running Lamp (DRLs), front and back designs, and a tiny portion of its side profile. The "Ola" emblem may be seen on the front and back of the electric four-wheeler.

Ola is presently looking to buy property totalling over 1,000 acres for the facility producing electric four-wheelers. When finished, it will be almost twice as big as its existing S1 Pro electric scooter production facility, the FutureFactory. The S1 Pro electric two-wheelers are presently available in India through Ola Electric.
