NHAI Opens Mahipalpur Flyover to Dwarka Expressway Traffic

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Gurugram section of the Dwarka Expressway, stretching from the Delhi-Haryana border to the clover leaf on Kherki Daula. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) also opened the Mahipalpur flyover on Tuesday, facilitating traffic flow from the Delhi-Gurgaon highway to the Samalkha Road along the IGI airport, connecting further to the Dwarka Expressway.

NHAI officials have deployed additional traffic marshals and installed more signages to prevent confusion at the toll plaza and on the Dwarka side, where construction work is ongoing. They have also cleared the Gurugram stretch for traffic movement and collaborated with the police department to enhance patrolling and regulate traffic on the expressway.

While the Gurugram section completion has been announced, work on the Delhi section is still pending, with around 10 percent left to finish, according to NHAI officials. Additionally, a uni-directional flyover from Mahipalpur near Shiv murti has been opened for traffic, enabling vehicles from Delhi to access the Samalkha Road towards the Dwarka Expressway.
