2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift in Action

Maruti Suzuki Swift, a beloved hatchback in India, is set to get an updated version in the near future. The 2024 Maruti Swift was showcased as a concept model at the Tokyo Motor Show and the production version is expected to be quite similar to the concept. A video shared by Motor World on YouTube provides a glimpse of the upcoming Swift.

The video starts with a closer look at the exterior, highlighting the redesigned front grille with a glossy black finish for a premium touch. It features projector LED headlights with unique DRL design and sleek headlamp units with integrated LED daytime running lights (DRL). The bumper has been revised, fog lamps have been integrated, and the bonnet design is different from the existing model.

On the side profile, new alloy wheels are prominent, and the rear door design has been updated, removing the hidden C-pillar door handles. The new Swift looks a little lower and longer but its height is 40 mm and width is 30 mm less than the current version.

At the rear, the car features a redesigned tail lamp with clear lens LED lighting and C-shaped brake lamps. The rear bumper has also been redesigned to match the sporty design of the front. The interiors are expected to have a floating-type touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and many more modern features.

The 2024 Maruti Swift is likely to be powered by a highly efficient petrol engine codenamed Z12, which is a new 3-cylinder naturally aspirated unit that offers better fuel efficiency and performance than the existing model. The new Swift aims to maintain its popularity among Indian car buyers with its updated and sleek design.
