The Aprilia RS 457 has made its debut in the UK with a price tag of GBP 6 500 approximately Rs 6.79 lakh. This model manufactured in India is exported to the UK market.

The Aprilia RS 457 is built on an aluminum frame and features a 41 mm upside-down front fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear for suspension. It rolls on 17-inch wheels and comes equipped with disc brakes both at the front and rear.

Powering the RS 457 is a liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a power output of 47 BHP. This places it in the A2 category of bikes alongside competitors like the Yamaha YZF-R3 and the Kawasaki Ninja 400. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and the bike incorporates a ride-by-wire system along with an optional quick shifter.

Notably the Aprilia RS 457 was launched in India last year at a price of Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The expansion of its availability to the UK further emphasizes the global appeal of this sporty model.
