Following the recent license scam, the Gandhinagar Regional Transport Office (RTO) has taken a strict stance in rectifying errors in vehicle registration. RTO has sent a legal notification to nine vehicle dealers regarding this matter.

Nearly 1200 discrepancies were identified within a single week, including incomplete documents and missing chassis numbers.

As a result, notices have been sent to nine dealers responsible for these irregularities. These notices seek comprehensive clarifications and explanations regarding the errors.

If the RTO considers the responses given by the dealers unsatisfactory, it can initiate action against them, which may also include cancellation of their business licenses.
